Labcorp is recruiting a Sr Service Delivery Manager for a dynamic team in RTP, North Carolina.

Successful candidate in this position will have a unique combination of technical and non-technical skills to build and guide a team of Business Analyst, Quality Assurance professionals' and Support engineers analyze, support, validate and ultimately resolve business problems with the help of technology. This role requires an innovative mind, good people management skills, a proven track record of developing processes and standards for supporting rollout of complex products in a fast paced environment with minimum defects.

This is a new role within the department, and will be responsible for a team of Business Analyst, Support Engineers and Quality Assurance. Individual should be a self-starter and have experience building team and functions from ground up. As a key leader on the team, you will play a critical role in shaping informatics teams' offering and growing the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for working in coordination with Application Engineering and BI team in gathering requirements, testing and supporting projects/deliverables.
  • Lead the development and design of the Business Analyst, QA guidelines and Support model and best practices. Champion process and quality excellence methods across Informatics and IT.
  • Manage a team for the collection and analysis of business problems and needs to produce business/functional requirements for use by development teams to design new solutions and enhance or change existing solutions.
  • Experience with general consulting skills that include team facilitation, business process management (BPM), strong business analysis skills, process mapping, and business process redesigning.
  • Provides oversight for the creation of the application test strategies, detailed test plans, test cases and execution of testing/verification of solutions (automated and/or manual) for correct operation and usability prior to user acceptance testing. Guides and creates SOP to determine when and how automated testing would be needed.
  • Establishes and maintains close working relationships with counterparts and functional leads, liaising deliverables and facilitate change management.
  • Supervise staff, oversee the delivery and management of multiple programs, products, and services utilizing strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Institute procedure for quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, bugs and re-validations.

Requirements

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration, Information Technology, Process Management or related field of study

Qualifications:

  • Five years' experience leading and managing teams. Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and/or business process management methods are preferred.

  • 8 years of business analysis or process re-engineering experience in progressively responsible positions with expertise in functional specification/user story writing and knowledge of technical aspects of customized software development lifecycle.

  • Excellent analytical skills to understand the essence of the business users' needs as well as dissect, assess, simplify and document very complex business processes and determine appropriate actions and solutions.

  • Strong technical skills required. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including Visio), as well as DevOps.

  • Knowledge of test automation tools and processes, Agile project management methodology and the product owner role.

  • Familiarity with Healthcare industry as well as a broad understanding of relevant IT trends.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal and external contacts to provide or exchange information and identify and resolve complex issues.

  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills including demonstrated experience presenting recommendations from a business perspective. Credibly communicates complex topics to stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated in order to drive self and team to align and achieve stated goals.
