Manage teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures. Devise and manage project plan, staffing needs and risk plan. Track and report regular project progress, slippage, effort and other key metrics. Use agile best practices and DevOps process tools such as GIT, Bamboo, BitBucket, Urban Code and confluence to drive efficient, quality and consistently predictable delivery of shippable code. Development Lifecycle support and technical risks for master data management (MDM) and Data Governance projects for multiple domains, including Customer, account, product, and other data types. Design, develop, modify, adapt and implement short-and long-term solutions to needs Related to IBM MDM Customization includes Extension, Addition, Business Proxies, Suspect Duplicate Processing (SDP), Merge Rules, Quality Stage matching rules, Event Manager, Notification Framework, and Data Governance projects. Manage and execute IBM MDM server product upgrade from 9.1 to 11.5. Design and configure the IBM MDM Probabilistic Matching Engine (PME) within the IBM MDM Standard Edition for LabCorp patient matching. Guide MDM solution implementation strategy including technical issues, and coordinate data integration architecture to reduce multiple data sources to create authoritative, accurate and reliable record system. Review system requirements and business processes for MDM data services to help ensure appropriate design, implementation and integration to supporting applications. Guide Data Quality technology, design, and approach across project life cycle phases. Perform data analysis, governance and quality improvement. Plan project work levels and implement MDM design reviews for architectural alignment. Design and develop multiple MDM integration channels (both real time and batch) by using IBM Integration Bus(IIB)/Datapower and Data stage. Develop and maintain MDM data services, architecture policy and principles and contribute to enterprise data governance. Meet with internal and external customers to understand requirements and implications for centralized data architecture. Improve and maintain higher levels of data quality within company data stores. Complete, clear documentation; on-time projects. Provide guidance and support for technical development managers and teams. Develop state-of-the-art solutions, hands-on research, evaluation and due diligence of technical solutions. Communicate with all stakeholders, working with internal and external technology providers to ensure maximum leverage of solutions. Research new technologies and developments. Travel up to 10% of the time to company headquarters in Burlington, NC.

Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or foreign equivalent, 3 years of experience as an IT Technical Specialist, Software Engineer, Program Manager, or Applications Developer and 1 year experience in each of the following skills: IBM Business & Service Models including Infosphere Master Data Management (MDM), Stewardship Center (or IBM Insurance Application Architecture (IAA)), & Metadata Modeling. Application development using IBM Development tools including Rational Software Architect (RSA) / Rational Software Developer (RAD). Systems integration/Middleware including IBM Datapower x150, IBM MQ Series, & IBM Websphere Application Server. Design Skills including Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) & Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Data Conversion & Support XML/Web service related technologies.

In lieu of a Master's degree and 3 years of experience, employer will accept: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or foreign equivalent, 5 years of progressive experience as an IT Technical Specialist, Software Engineer, Program Manager, or Applications Developer and 1 year experience in each of the following skills: IBM Business & Service Models including Infosphere Master Data Management (MDM), Stewardship Center (or IBM Insurance Application Architecture (IAA)), & Metadata Modeling. Application development using IBM Development tools including Rational Software Architect (RSA) / Rational Software Developer (RAD). Systems integration/Middleware including IBM Datapower x150, IBM MQ Series, & IBM Websphere Application Server. Design Skills including Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) & Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Data Conversion & Support XML/Web service related technologies.
