Key Account Executive - Business Development / Sales

The Inside Sales - Key Account Executive (KAE) will be responsible for driving organic volume (accessions) and revenue growth for the South East Division of LabCorp. We are seeking a motivated and action oriented sales professional to manage an existing territory while seeking to uncover new growth opportunities on a daily basis.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Quickly develop relationships with existing customers over the phone and help to understand/provide solutions on day-to-day account service needs
  • Ability to drive performance in key areas related to new sales, account retention, and customer contact rates
  • Accountable for individual sales pipeline development to exceed monthly new sales targets
  • Lead the charge on inside sales campaigns while supporting other divisional campaigns over the phone
  • Meet deadlines put forth by regional & divisional management
  • Analyze existing accounts at a territory level and develop recommendations to retain existing business while increasing new accession volumes and revenue
  • Pre-call planning and post-call analysis with the appropriate customer follow-up (e-mail communications)
  • Willingness to learn, collaborate, and educate to educate customers LabCorp's services
  • Ability to learn physician office level electronic connectivity products, solutions, and customer needs (i.e. interfaces, EMR's, LabCorp Link, etc.)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft excel, and outlook to
  • Daily Microsoft CRM and internal systems usage
  • 40 dials per day minimum expectation

Requirements

License/Certification/Education: Normally a B.A./B.S. Degree preferred w/2-4 years of outside sales experience. Normally requires a valid driver's license along with a clean driving record.

Inside sales experience preferred

  • Willing to work extended hours on projects to meet deadlines
  • Project management with weekly, monthly, and quarterly deliverables
  • Demonstrated solid communication skills, both oral and written
