Monogram Biosciences, part of LabCorp, is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join its clinical laboratory in the Data Analysis group in South San Francisco. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist will perform analysis and review of phenotypic and genotypic drug resistance tests using Monogram in-house created analysis systems. Drug resistance testing allows clinicians to evaluate a patient's viral resistance profile with confidence by showing which drugs for which the viral resistance profile is susceptible, partially sensitive, or resistant. This is an office-based position and doesn't involve hands on wet lab work.
The schedule for this position will be: Tuesday -- Saturday, 11am-7:30pm. 10% shift differential offered!

Utilizes Monogram's in-house data analysis systems to perform comprehensive review of phenotypic and genotypic testing based on established criteria
Completes associated batch records which denotes data analysis findings
Reviews sample status in laboratory information system and accurately enters repeat or reporting results
Actively follows standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with quality test reporting
Recognizes problems and initiates appropriate corrective action
Works effectively with a group or independently to ensure timely result reporting to clients
Remains flexible and focused as business priorities change
BS/BA in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory field
Requires current State of California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license
Laboratory training/experience in specialties related to molecular biology, virology, and/or tissue culture preferred
Good understanding of statistical methods and application to the analysis of complex assays
Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills and experience with laboratory information systems
Color vision-ability to distinguish and identify different colors
Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary
Ability to work with a high attention to detail in a collaborative and flexible environment
