Assigns, oversees, and reviews the work of employees. Directs all phases of work, quality, service, and performs tests or assays as required. Directly Supervises technical staff, conducts performance evaluations, monitors proficiency testing performance, and ensures corrective actions are implemented and maintained.
The Seattle LabCorp Hematology Department, located at the Cherry Hill Swedish Campus, is looking for a 3rd shift Supervisor to join our management team. This position is responsible for primarily 3rd shift workflow, staffing, training, and maintaining regulatory compliance as part of a larger team. The Hematology lab serves several large quaternary care hospitals, and provides reference hematology work for diverse healthcare providers across the Pacific Northwest. Position requires a passion for hematology, and the ability to effectively manage people and projects.
License/Certification/Education: Requires a B.S./B.A. Degree w/ >5 years of laboratory experience. Must be ASCP certified as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Scientist and must meet CLIA requirements.
