Sr. IT Specialist ( Tier 2 support)

Labcorp is looking for a IT Specialist to provide Tier 2 support for its San Diego Location. This person provides end user computer support and training, both in the field and remote, for LabCorp software packages. May serve as technical and information liaison between IT, operations, vendors and end users. Conducts in person and remote trainings to Clients on how to use LabCorp software and works Tier 2 support tickets.

Skills required:

  • Must have great communication skills both written and oral.
  • Must be comfortable training small, medium or large groups of people on how to use LabCorp software either over the phone or onsite.
  • Needs to have knowledge of Microsoft office and troubleshooting/installing a printer and/or computer system.
  • Experience in customer service, IT related fields and/or medical field is a plus.

Requirements

License/Certification/Education: Normally requires a High School Degree in Computer Science w/5+ years experience.
