Real Estate Project Delivery Manager- Raleigh-Durham, NC
This is a key role directly reporting to the VP Global Real Estate and supporting the finance department and is responsible for financial, analytical management and managing the lease administration team.
The role will provide timely and accurate analysis and forecasting through both business case scenario analysis, in conjunction with the provision of management reports. All aspects of the role will be focused on providing insights to strategically drive the real estate/facilities teams from a finance perspective.
Essential Job Functions, Duties and Responsibilities

Lead the financial analysis and assessment of real estate/facilities opportunities and initiatives (both new and existing) across all business units
Assist in the preparation and presentation of Capital Committee papers (proposals for the purchase/lease of property) in relation to the business opportunities and initiatives being pursued by the business
Assist in the roll-up of approved financial models for the business units into the business plan
Forecasting and scenario analysis of the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and return metrics for the projects, the overall business units and associated impacts.
Actively assisting and providing strategic financial insight to the finance and business teams to assist in transaction structuring and execution of initiatives pursued by the business units
Assist in the day to day administration and preparation of financial documentation
Manage the lease administration team to provide analytical insights into the business
Providing strategic analysis into real estate and construction markets
Delivering consolidated financial plan and monitoring.
Coordinating internal and external reporting to ensure consistency, accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting to achieve regulatory and business outcomes. This requires a high level of forecast accuracy and challenging of the status quo
Lead and provide technical guidance and advice on real estate finance and lease administration
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to increase networks and allow for exchange of information especially with Financial Managing data quality and integrity of output for monthly Financial Accounting and Reporting results
Mentoring and supporting team members through training and feedback to encourage and develop internal capabilities
Driving continuous improvement initiatives in relation to the financial analysis, financial accounting and reporting processes and systems and work with the Finance Systems Manager as required
Manage the applicable financial accounting documentation and supporting procedures and ensure all are up to date
o Bachelor Degree in Business or Real Estate with a major or sub major in Finance and/or Accounting, combined with fundamental subject matter knowledge and people management skills.
o Proven and demonstrated experience in financial modelling and analysis required
o Proven and demonstrated experience in producing excel based financial models which support business goals
o Experience in asset valuation, discounted cash flow analysis and related corporate finance skills
o Must be highly analytical in nature and be able to ask questions that draw out insights into the business
o Excellent attention to detail, pride in completion of and work completed
o Extensive experience in strategic finance and accounting roles, with up to 5 years' experience (or equivalent level of skill obtained through on the job training/experience)
o Real Estate, construction or infrastructure development, financial services or investment management industry experience preferred
o Experience in financial accounting and or shared services functions highly regarded
o Experience or a good understanding of FASB
