This is a unique opportunity to join the management team of a leading global life sciences company that advances patient health and powers clear, confident decisions through its diagnostics and drug development offerings. Labcorp developed 100 new tests in 2020 with the same output of first in class, best in class diagnostics planned for 2021.

As a National Trainer, you will hold a key position within the organization responsible for the training and development of the Autoimmune Specialty Development Sales Executives that are either new hires or existing sales representatives, and the sales leadership teams within each of the operating divisions. You will work closely with key leadership, both at corporate and divisional levels, to create and facilitate learning intended increase the skills and abilities of the sales force.

You will support the new hire on-boarding process which include coaching, training events, and learning path guidance. Support the e-learning initiatives as well as divisional requests and needs. Assist with the planning, creation, and implementation of national, divisional, and regional meetings.

We are seeking a competitive and collaborative individual with a high degree of communication and business acumen skills who enjoys building, leading, and working with a seasoned, high performing team across our fastest growing therapeutic areas and will focus on Rheumatology and other Autoimmune disorders

This individual should possess the ability to leverage Labcorp's data analytics, clinical trials knowledge, scientific expertise, and unique partnership models to create a unique customer value proposition.

  • Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures
  • Develop and customize content and curricula to improve the on-boarding process of sales reps within division
  • Develop and implement sales curricula and education materials for field training to support new product launches and re-enforce core selling skills and messaging
  • Partner with Marketing and Field Management to develop and implement content and key messages for sales training programs and national, area, and regional meetings
  • Develop individual coaching plans for trainees at the conclusion of training classes and schedule calls to discuss performance with the sales managers
  • Conduct ongoing training for needs assessments with trainers, sales professionals, and managers to identify training needs and appropriate objectives
  • Schedule field rides and ongoing training sessions. Observe sales encounters and provide follow up reports to sales managers and general managers
  • Improve training effectiveness by developing new approaches, sharing best practices while making support readily available
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


  • 4+ years of experience in sales, sales training, or clinical education. Relevant healthcare or laboratory diagnostic industry experience preferred
  • Sales experience with documented success
  • Ability to successfully motivate others, outstanding presentation skills as a dynamic and engaging speaker
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and follow-up skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge of best learning techniques
  • Prior experience working within a sales organization
  • Experience developing sales web-based content, videos and engaging virtual training programs is preferred.
  • Dynamic presentation and facilitation skills and ability to present information in a clear and concise manner to a diverse population
  • High level of both verbal and written communication skills
  • Requires a Valid Driver's License
  • Up  tp 50% travel
