  • Completes quality audits of work completed in Revenue Cycle Management for Jay Lane operations
  • Performs audit work at the productivity and quality standards as defined by team management.
  • Offers suggestions to supervisor/manager to improve processes related to correspondence and/or denial operations functions.
  • Provides input on revisions to SOPs. Informs supervisor of areas where work instructions may require clarity or further instruction.
  • Shares best practices with team members.
  • Continuously supports the Lean principles
  • Use TurnStyle to format reports or pull in additional fields into the spreadsheet to make processing reports more efficient.
  • Problem solves issue to determine the root cause. Contacts appropriate management when needed and recommend solutions.

Requirements

Requirements: License/Certification/Education: Normally an Associate's Degree or 2-3 years of experience in field.

Required Skills

  • Superb written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
  • Solid interpersonal relationship and conflict resolution skills
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Excel to create and modify spreadsheets
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Adaptable to change

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to work various RCM denials, correspondence, electronic and manual claims functions per department procedures
  • Working knowledge of LabCorp systems/tools such as LCBS, Phoneix, mPower, nVision, Docfinity, RevFinder, TurnStyle, and Workflow.
  • Knowledge of carrier websites to complete RCM functions.
  • Knowledge of insurance products (e.g. medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance) and eligibility.
