LabCorp seeks a Software Quality Assurance Manager to implement software quality through automation and continuous integration. Provide solutions or escalate to management. Create and maintain test artifacts and quality assurance audit documents. Liaise between quality assurance and cross functional teams. Request, monitor and drive security testing and related activities, drive load testing and related activities, and drive Sprint and Release quality assurance activities to successful completion. Communicate quality assurance risks, milestones, and status to Stakeholders. Provide work estimates for testing activities, and collect and report on quality statistics and metrics. Perform technical tasks related to the projects. Execute testing activities in Agile/Scrum environment to ensure high quality software and compliance to regulatory statues, policies and procedures. Test web application software, Web Services, UI and DBs. Perform black and white-box tests. Write and execute manual and automated test cases/scripts. Manage and create test data. Review and verify functional and system requirements to ensure project deliverables pass quality assurance criteria. Record and monitor discovered defects and quality assurance related issues and Web Services Testing Tools. Participate in Release Planning, Sprint Planning, Retrospective, and daily standup meetings, and Perform and assist in Demos. Recommend and organize contractor teams per project priorities. Ensure tasks and deadlines are met, member assignments and tasks are approved in a timely fashion, and conflicts are resolved. Facilitate removal of impediments. Monitor members' performance. Cultivate continuing relationships with peers, team and management and set goals. Have one on one meetings, team meetings, mentor and coach teams, and push for continuous improvement by recommending best tools and solutions to keep customer products on par with best and latest technologies.

Requirements

Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or foreign equivalent plus three (3) years of experience as an IT Project Manager or Programmer Analyst. Employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or foreign equivalent plus five (5) years of experience as an IT Project Manager or Programmer Analyst. Position also requires experience with the following: design, development, implementation, and execution of Test Automation Framework in QTP, RTW; design, development, implementation, and execution of Manual Functional Test; Visual Studio; LoadRunner scripting; JIRA; ETL verification; Quality Center; MQ Series; Selenium Scripting; Web Services Testing Tools; SOAP and XML WSDL Testing; and back end validation of Microsoft SQL and Oracle platforms databases.
