LabCorp Lab Systems is a dynamic team of individuals that supports a variety of the Laboratories lab systems thru out the company umbrella. We are in search of a customer focused individual to join our team as a Technical Support Representative T2. The ideal candidate will facilitate support in a non-traditional technical call center environment for corporate end-users on a wide variety of issues regarding both commercial and proprietary systems and applications.
This position is first shift M-F,8-hour shifts with hours 7:30am- 4:30pm.
Responsibilities of the Technical Support Rep Tier 2:
Provide technical support for complex lab software suites.
Responsible for receiving, documenting, analyzing and resolving issues reported by our customers and field management.
Evaluates new and existing information to establish trends.
Serves as technical and information liaison between IT, operations, vendors, and end users for the support and integration of varied systems.
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the technical skills inherent to healthcare industry and lift up any issues to leadership as they arise.
License/Certification/Education: Normally a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science w/3-5 years of experience
Ability to relate professionally with people verbally as well as in written communication
Experience with LabCorp Systems: LCLS, LCWS, SIS, order processing and reporting
Strong analytical and research abilities
Extremely skilled at seeing and managing details
Exemplary organizational skills
Effective use of time management
Ability to think outside the box
Problem solving and analytical, technical aptitude and ability to learn and embrace new concepts
Self-motivated individual that can work well unsupervised.
Participate in an on call rotation
Experience in clinical laboratory as well as an IT setting preferred
Knowledge of Lab process and operations
Skilled in Office technologies such as Excel and MS Word
