As a member of the Corporate Pre-Analytical Supply Chain Operations team, the employee will act as a liaison between all of the LabCorp Operating Divisions and project management teams. The employee will represent Pre-Analytical Supply Chain Operations team on matters of technical and operational related (workflow) issues as well as provide on-going support in areas of quality performance and process improvement. The employee will lead and partner with internal customers on initiatives aimed at enterprise level standardization efforts as they relate to enterprise level Pre-Analytical Supply Chain operations.

Job Responsibilities include leadership components of significant Operations-oriented projects, including (but not limited to):

  • Participating in current Project LaunchPad II projects.
  • Reviews, analyzes, evaluates and documents operation(s) workflow models, and evaluates data on standardization of field protocols. Will assist project teams, as necessary.
  • Makes recommendations to management based on research and coordinates implementation of Pre-Analytical processes/ protocols / tools.
  • Assists in the development and administration of processes and procedures for the efficient operation of Pre-Analytical Supply Chain Operations in accordance with corporate and regulatory guidelines.

  • Analysis of data for projects, as assigned by management, and performs other duties as required to meet the needs of the Corporate Pre-Analytical Supply Chain Operations. Ensures timely completion of tasks and projects. Assist teams by providing data and resources to ensure overall project deadlines are met.
  • Proposes and participates in training and standardization activities; provides recommendations applicable to laboratory and branch operations and the supply chain flow into the enterprise business units.
  • Provides overall support to areas of responsibility and ensures consistent communication of current operations initiatives including but not limited to change management communications at the enterprise level, through participation in corresponding committee activities and on-going operational touch-point meetings with the department AVP.



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work 5-7 years' experience in lieu of undergraduate degree.
  • 3+ years' experienceinteracting and presenting to internal clients.
  • 3+ years' experience problem solving skills and analytical abilities to assess analytical and/or reporting needs and creating deliverables
  • Experience in project management, change management and cross-functional team management desired
  • Experience in data management and analytical interpretation
  • Experience in operational SOP and process compliance auditing
  • Ability to define, build, and execute tasks outlined within the project scope, on schedule and within budget constraints
  • Understanding of the LabCorp operations and supply chain operations.
  • Strong Intermediate to Advance level proficiency in Microsoft Office based software applications, including Microsoft Excel, Access, Visio, Project, Word, and PowerPoint as this position will require communication (use of technology to support presentation skills is critical to this role).
  • Ability to travel 25-50% as necessary to provide operational support and implementation of projects and initiatives.
    • Requires individual to work various shifts as necessary to provide support on projects and initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Propensity to analyze issues -- Gather relevant information systematically, consider a broad range of issues or factors; grasp complexities and perceive relationships among problems or issues; seek input from others; use accurate logic and data in analyses.
  • Ability to use strategic thinking, experience and knowledge when considering a broad range of internal and external factors when problem solving and making decisions; assist in the identification of critical, high pay-off strategies and prioritize team efforts accordingly.
  • Must be team-oriented.
  • Must be able to analyze, summarize and provide extensive detail of findings.
  • Lean or Six Sigma experience is desired
  • LCLS and Specimen Integrity System experience
  • LabCorp Master Control experience

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
