In July of 2021, Labcorp exercised their option to acquire OmniSeq; a commercial, CAP accredited, CLIA, ISO 13485:2016 and NY State CLEP licensed clinical laboratory in Buffalo, NY. We utilize next generation sequencing (NGS) technologies through a NYS CLEP approved comprehensive molecular profiling panel. Insurance Verification and Authorization
Verify benefits through insurance online portals and phone systems
Authorization request preparation and submission
Follow up on open auth requests
Obtain clinical information necessary to support medical necessity
Compile and submit appeals for denied prior authorization
Document insurance benefits and prior auth results
Locate and review payer medical policy, identify areas of change
Identify opportunities for payer education to develop medical policy
